Started the day with the gewbers on ice.
![]()
Used the same jig head and same jig body, fishing two poles at the same time. One jig with a gewber, one without
Caught about the same number of crappie with the gewber as without,5 to 4
For me most scents seem to increase my bluegill catch rate
It is hard to see but the gewbers just about to go into the stomach of this crappie.
I can't really say but it didn't appear that the gewbers made much difference. It was several months after I recieved them before I was able to do this test.I don't know if it was the age but they were very durable catching several fish on a single gewber.Probably need to do this test several more times to get a real feel about their value as a scent.

Thanks for sharing. Does look like the Crappie in that last pic really wanted that Gewber. Shows that using Gewbers does get them to hang on harder. But as far as biting, it prolly depends on whether the Crappie are in reaction mode or sniff and bite mode. It may not help as much when they are "Reaction Bites". But as you seen, the gills do more sniffing and biting and you catch more then. imho
