    I can't say I ever ate one, but around here they are considered the best tasting cat.

    We call them machoireon... Spelling might be wrong, but it's close, best tasting catfish bar none!
    I've also heard them called goujon caille, which I assume means spotted catfish...

    Fin? As in sting? The small ones will, just like all catfish, but as they get older the fins get bigger and not as pointy, so it's not as bad
