    Ventured out this morn & it payed off. 29 , GG, 10 fow , 4-5 feet down.

    Made my first trip to Black Lake today. Fished 10 to 2. Caught 11 crappie and 2 bream. Some on grey ghost and some on old shiners. About 6 ft deep in 8 ft of water. All were fat and a couple with eggs.

    Is Black Lake a shallow lake? I mean are they in the deep water and suspended or are you catching them in a somewhat "shallow" area? I'd have thought they'd all be deep by now.
