I'm new to the area worried if anyone can give me any suggestions to fish jordan this time of. Shallow or deep? Type of baits or rigs? And maybe a few spots to try. Been reading about fishing the Farmington rd bridge but on Google maps it looks like Farmington rd crosses jordan in two spots? Thanks in advance for the help

put in at Farrington boat ramp, go under the bridge you see just to your left out of the ramp. Start there and fish minnows or jigs at 12' to just off the bottom. Try hugging the creek channel edges, and also follow the channel to the backside of the small island to the left after you go under the bridge. good luck, don't forget 10" minimum length and 20 fish per person.

Welcome to crappie.com from Rockwell NC. Hope you do good at Jordan next weekend.

Jordan dropped nine degrees last week and it sent the fish deep. The shad are schooled up in river channels and the crappie will be close by.
Farrington is located in the shallow end of Jordan. It's going to be tough catching fish up there from now till sometime in February, provided we have normal weather. Maybe someone else has different information, but I'm putting in at Ebenezer or Seaforth the next two months.
