    Default Kayak crappie

First post here. Went to my local creek creek Saturday and jigged up some crappie. Had a blast. I'm new to targeting crappie but looking forward to doing it more!

    Welcome to Crappie.com!!

Nice fish! I fished out of a small canoe for years. What part of the state are you from? If you don't mind me asking. I love seeing posts of river/creek crappie fishing, as that's mostly what I do. Most of the posts are from the big lakes so it's a real treat to see a fellow creek fisherman.

    I'm Brian, from Wilmington.

I'm from between greenville and new bern. Caught these in a creek off the neuse river. This is a creek that gets almost zero fishing pressure where I fish it due to a dumpy little gravel ramp that doesn't fit much more than very small jon boat. I had no idea and I don't think very many other people know how good the crappie fishing can be in there.

Ya, I fish tidal, brackish water as well. It's not like fishing Lake Jordan or anything, but you can put a mess of crappie on the table whenever you want. There's on here, "Jack" who fishes the Trent river up that way and absolutely kills 'em. I've met him IRL and he's a real nice guy. If you ever run into him on here you should talk to him about the fishing up that way, he knows his stuff.
