I have been thinkning about your motor ever since i fished with ya. I got corrupted! But glad I did! Did you have the "ipilot link" and if no, Would you recommend me getting it, or is that alot more money for just a little more improvement?

If you are already running Humminbirds I think the Ilink is well worth the upgrades, heck I like the remote a lot better than the Ipilot remote. The only issue with the Ilink is having to be sure you charge it after each use. It gives you depth read out on the remote as well, I find this pretty handy from time to time if in the back of the boat doing something and just keeping up with whats going on. If Lakemaster builds a card for your area its almost a no brainer.
Might keep your old (new) trolling moter for a little while just to see if there are times you would rather have it, quick detach mounting bracket is a very handy thing, don't get the puck style in my opinion. Good luck.

Thankyou! I do use humminbirds. But Probably wont be buying a lakemaster card because of lack of lakes I fish. Hate to buy the card for one lake that I fish.

Me too, reason I didn't buy it this last year because it didn't have Grenada and Enid on it yet. The new edition this spring is supposed to have them and I will get it then. Navionics is terrible on Enid, fair on Grenada as long as you don't go too far up the lake.

I heard the link will tend to adjust quite rapidly if you are following along and the bottom changes in a short distance. True? I know spot lock can adjust faster than I desire at times.

If you have the cruise set even if it turns 90 degrees it won't speed up unless the turn slows the boat and then only a step or two up, not like hitting the rabbit button.
Another good feature is it has a half rabbit option, use it more than I do the full rabbit.
Have heard rumors but haven't confirmed it yet that the speed of adjustment the spot lock does can be adjusted with an update of some sort.

I bought a new boat last year that came with the power drive v2. I just last week bought an ipilot for $375 to put on it. I haven't got to try it out yet, but if it works well it was a lot cheaper than the terrova.
