Welcome to the forum! Glad you're here with us. I am not like the other fellas wishing for freezing weather, don't care for it myself.

Headstrong,,,,You may know all this but just in case you don't........There used to be a couple, three, four weeks when the big Crappie would stack up just below the trestle/bridge (just north of Moringsport) that started about one or two weeks before Thanksgiving and ended a week or two after. I don't think it has happened for the last few years but historically its been going on since the lake was first dammed up. We used to kill 'em there for a while and then, like magic they disappeared and Johnson's was hot. There where always at least 8-12 CDC boats out there. Anyway,,,,Its easy to know if they're there if you ever drive over the bridge and see more than a few boats fishing near the first piling south of the bridge.

Welcome to the forum
Thanks for the tip percher! I'm taking off work the week of thanksgiving so hopefully I can get out on the water soon once the part comes in for my boat motor. The male fuel line connection on the motor itself started leaking gas and I can't locate the exact part online for my 25hp yamaha. I'm probably just gonna buy a fuel barb to run the fuel line straight to the fuel pump as a bypass to get me out on the water lol. As I read through some of the forums it's really cool to see guys helping each other out on here. Thanks for the warm welcome guys.

Thanks for the help, I've replaced the connector on the actual hose but it still leaked. Here's a pic of the part I think I'm having problems with. Its the male end that's fixed onto my motor. Don't see an O-ring anywhere on it, unfortunately. I guess after years of disconnects it finally wore out? lol.![]()
Welcome headstrong, I think the "O" ring is in the female connector. Check to see if there are any sharp corners on the male end, it might have cut the "O" ring. Maybe the male has some damage to it. Or, as you say maybe it's worn out from many on and off cycles.
