Very cool ties!

I have tied a good many much like these, but also some that I included a feather tail with the skirt material too. I did do some with only the skirt material too, but here is a big 1/4 oz jig I tied to use at night, but would also do well in summer time crappie as I use a 1/8 or 1/4 oz jig in summer anyway! I also used some really large chenille on this one! I like long tails, but yours are even longer than mine, but that is a personal thing!

Almost forgot to say the skirt material actually made the tail a little more bulky look even when wet!

They work pretty well! I Was trying to make a fake big profile but small you get what I am trying to say.

Where do you buy your rubber skirt material? I am looking for the black and chartreuse or just chartreuse. Thanks

Well no not sure, but you may get a bigger profile if the tails are a little shorter so they flair out just a little? Maybe your looking for overall length, but the shorter tails should look more fat or a bigger profile?? I am not positive anout that, but it is how I am thinKing right now.
