Default Crescent - Slow but fun

Size: 54.8 KB My father and I fished Crescent for the first time this year. We only caught around 20. Five were 14-15" with a bonus redfish that measured 26.5". While he was fighting that fish, another redfish snatched a pole into the lake and we couldn't catch up to it. Most fish were caught in 11-13.5 ft of water of a variety of different color jigs. As always, dad caught 90% of the fish.

Hey Quick...we didn't have the green slime but lots of eel grass floaters, maybe there's a connection. My scale wasn't working, but our two biggest were 15" and very thick. I don't know if our fish were as big as yours. Nice Pic!

Crappie lover can you put your rod in the holder in such a way that the stem that connects the reel to the rod is behind the fork of the rod holder.l do that with my driftmasters on all rear facing poles a buddy of mine lost 2 in one day at Crescent by not doing so now he locks them all in.

Nice fish & a great report coming from Crescent, I hope to make it up within the next couple weeks.
The finest gift you can give to any fisherman is to put a good fish back, and who knows if the fish that you caught isn't someone else's gift to you?"
