Default String of 14" Crappie on Jordan Broken Today

Charles and I have had several weeks of catching at least one 14" crappie, but that string was broken today. I did manage one at 13", but nothing bigger. We caught several keepers, but ended up throwing them all back.

November is usually a transition month on Jordan and it is definitely happening. In the old days, October meant loads of crappie at the Farrington bridge and by December, they were at the 64 Bridge. By January, they were down at the S-curves. I don't know for sure if the crappie are moving, but the shad are moving for sure. We caught some small crappie following the shad, but could not find the big slabs. You can see the choice of color in the picture.

Here's a picture showing how the shad are starting to gather for the Winter cold. This is in a cove near the S-curves. This is a split screen with regular 2D and DI.
