    Not sure how long it was for sure. It would not slide all the way into a green Grip n Check fish measurer because it was so tall. It's nose was about 1 1/2" short of hitting the front. I would guess it at around 16".

    Great fish! Never has someone asked me how long a big fish was.They ask what did it weigh. What up Onetime? it was weighed on tourney scales.Please let us know about the crappie pins

    OTD and Badaxed fish together a lot. They have a hat pin that is worn proudly by whoever has caught the longest crappie, and goes back and forth between them from time to time. Like OTD said, they don't weigh them in WI...they go by length. There's a whole thread on the topic here. Hope that helps.
