David...can you start one of the Helix units up and see if the white readout boxes are on the side or at the bottom...??

And go thru the menus to see if there are any options to move, change, or turn off these boxes...

I do believe, that it is done like this. Now this is the best SI unit among 5" screens IMHO:

Where did you get your Helix image...??

The only marketing images I've seen show the white boxes on the side...

Sorry, I just took that view from the left picture and put it on full screen of the new unit to show how it would look. No doubt that Humminbird provided full screen option for HELIX5 aswell.

    Mid December to January release.

MSRP is $499 for the SI Combo on down to around $199 for the 2D Sonar only ($299 w/GPS), then $249/$349 for the DI with or without GPS, IIRC.
Micro SD - so new mapping cards coming soon too.

Read Outs will be on the left side. You will be able to turn off readouts in full side view only.

    Hopefully that's just marketing pictures...

They sure do love those readout boxes...it's like an HB commandment! Thou shalt have huge readouts! Nonetheless, will make a nice option for my kayak
