    I only fish for Crappie from the shore. Is a drop-shot rig the best rig or should I just continue to cast and reel back in? What about any other rigs that are out there to improve my catch? Thanks.

    Just my opinion, but fishing from the bank I would use a slip float rig. Cast it and slow retrieve or let it just hover over a spot.
