Thread: crappie fishing success

This thread served the original purpose.. to inform the beginners that to get to the single most important part of crappie fishing.. there are alot of things to learn

great post but imo not the best answer to me it is not bout the catching it is bout the going

If it was most important to be catching, there would be a whole lot more equipment and boats for sale on here according to most reports!!!! catching and eating is least important to me as I don't like fish to eat. The only time catching is most important for me would be during a tourney. Everything here mentioned is most important in it's own venue, however to be consistently successful you have to put it all together. If you're new at it, keep on tryin till you get it. Clinton has been hot for two weeks now, be there in an hour or so myself again!!!!

Gonna make it simple here at least from my perspective, while some may find it just plain relaxing to get out and relax and attempt to catch fish, I see the purpose of going fishing is to catch fish. I havent been fishin as long as you but Ive fished quite a while and I will say that to catch crappie you do not have to the best boat, electronics, newest baits, best rods an reels or any of the fad stuff and tactics. Plain an simple for most of us..... if we aint catchin we aint going. Thats why everyone is looking for a fishing report. Some of you wise ol'farts are the exception though
