Russ - On average, how many crappie do you harvest on Conway in a year? If you fished it 100 times, it would be 2,000! That is a lot of filets! Next year it will be 3,000 crappie!

You are right Matt I harvest 2500-3000 a year give or take a few. Count the ones that are very harvestable that I throw back and you can add another 500 per year that don't hit the knife. This summer and was really really good to me out there this year.

That is correct. Starting January 1st of this coming year (2015), the state wide creel will be 30 crappie per day. There will not longer be a 20/30 split across the state. Of course there will be some exceptions and they will be posted in the regs books and at the accesses.

Don't forget fish must be over a 10 inch Min for Conway after the 1st of the year. Just for the record I love the 10 inch Min rule for Conway. Not a fan of the 30 fish limit tho. 20 fish over 10 inches per person should be enuff for anybody. Just My Two penny's. LOL it can be hard enuff to catch 20... 10 inch plus fish on Conway as it is.
