    Default welding plastic baits.

I wanted to try this out as we were reading on do-it I believe a post that ctom did . we used a baby shat Stinger body and use a paddle tail from another bait I used a torch and he heated the tips of each of the plastic baits and pursed them together
then I use clear plastic until I come past the tale a little bit to secure the two pieces more. and thank you ctom I had fun with this today.

Yes ctom and I enjoy every minute of it just thinking of what else I have in those molds out there that I can conjure up next.

You done something I've been doing for over a decade - making hybrid lures from the parts of at least two lures using a candle flame to slightly melt the two ends. (Beats using super glue.)
    Here are a few ideas:

You can also dip the bodies of grub, short worms and tubes in hot plastic to increase the body thickness:

I started playing with the cutting and welding back in the early 70's when I began a serious quest using the plastic. There weren't a lot of options back then.

    Nice looking stuff there Spoon!

Here are a few I just dipped:

I've found that they all get hit, but couldn't say if it was because of increased body thickness. Hope so....
I melted green pumpkin with flake and it modified the original colors such as clear, chartreuse, motor oil and root beer.
