    Default Jordan help

Going to Jordan this coming weekend with a church group on a Father/Son camping weekend. We are going to be at Vista Point Group camping. I normally fish Sharron Harris so any help on good areas to fish I would appreciate it. Also, if I should leave the boat at home due to the recent rains....

Lastly, if I would be better off fishing for something else; Catfish, perch, bream, or stripers please let me know and I'll adjust. Just whatever would be best to get the boys into some decent fishing.

I do have a GPS/fishfinder but not any good lake maps for it yet.

Thanks for any help that you can give,
    Fishengineer

I would bring the boat if it were me. For the kids you probably won't be able to beat minnows with corks. Fish treetops and wood that are in 8-12 ft. of water and you should catch crappie and some good ones. Most importantly be extra careful and hope you guys catch some fish and have a great time !

Bring the boat--fish at the Farrington bridge. Monk, Redboat and Chief have all limited out there the past two weeks. Can't do better than catching a limit.

I fished today at the bridge. 1st time fishing Jordan. 10 keepers. The guys fishing said it had slowed down over the weekend. Still fun to be on the water again. Name: ImageUploadedByTapatalk1413843417.131664.jpg

Thanks Buzz, we checking weather again tomorrow before deciding. If we make the pull we will tight line, troll and or vertical jig in the bridge area. Were there many out today?

I was out there last Tuesday and saw Chief in the wind and rain. He caught a number of fish, but didn't report. It was a tough day, but they were biting.
