great job on wearing your life vest while the big motor is off.
I have a Mustang vest like it and it's not a problem to fish with it........
Won't do any good (life vest) in Henderson. If you fall in, all you have to do is stand up. If your 5' tall or better. 4' foot would do but ya gonna sink a foot deep in the mud.

I was able to get in at the Basin Landing just south of Pat's in Henderson. A little steep but doable!

I'm a safety man by trade and have been for over 20 years. Just wouldn't feel right without it!

Not knocking them at all, some really fun fishing when you can find what they are looking for. Just havn't been successful finding crappie!

I was funning Chuck, but it wasn't directed at you. I like to bass fish myself. In fact I usually start my day bass fishing then switch to crappie. Back when I used to just target crappie, I would use shiners and catch more than I wanted anyway. I just like a small mess every now and again to eat or give away. I like to eat bass just as much. I will post some pictures on off topic tomorrow night showing what I'm doing with the mess I caught Thursday.
