Finally made it into Henderson yesterday thanks to advice I received on this forum. I still was not able to find the sac-a-lait (crappie) but I did take a little time to throw a spinner bait and received 7 consolation prizes instead! Oh well, guess I'll resume hunting next weekend, it's a tough job but someone has to do it right?

RETIRED LOUISIANA CRAPPIE HUNTER
White with gold and silver Colorado blades. Was catching them in shallow areas on shade side of stumps moving pretty quick.
Nothing wrong with that! Thanks for the picture!

Good catch chuck. They might stink when you clean them but they taste just fine
Man, there are some bass name calling people on the Louisiana sight.Green carp, sewer trout(from the guy who won money catching them). Consolation prize is a good name for them. You all know you eat them. Just sayin.

great job on wearing your life vest while the big motor is off.
I have a Mustang vest like it and it's not a problem to fish with it........
