Those look way bigger than ours. We have the small native type. But lot's of them. I have them cracked in a machine anyway. Pick about 100 lbs, sell 35 and pays for cracking the rest. Then real easy to shell and turn into pies.![]()

I usually pick up @300 lbs. a year from my trees.......but this year the tree rats have really dropped a bunch on the ground. Sell 'em at the farmers market and have some
cracked for keeping and shellin'. Them little natives taste better than the paper shells to me. Lack of rain kept them on the small size this year too.
Randy I am like Danny, those are way bigger than mine! But I have the small native kind also. Harder to peel but are great for cooking with! Danny, now I know your secret to great pecan pies! I will try that with mine, may have to bring one to toledo gathering for a little friendly competion. lol

I can't wait to get home and check on mine Lord willing we will be pulling out of NY tomorrow. The son is finally able to sue his shoulder well enough to function so we are outa here. Will let yall know how the garden citrus and pecans faired in our absence. I should have okra seeds a plenty if yall interested cause We left in a hurry with them only then really beginning to bare.

I Picked up one 5 gal bucket, and the winds have droped about two more in the yard, Those Little ones make the best Candies and Pies. In picking them out you get a Gallon Bag to one cup of the little ones ---- I have to go clean up the driveway Pecans now
