    Default Cane creek lake 10-11

I hit the water this morning about 8:00 only to be greeted with a pretty stiff wind ,much more than I like to troll in. Water temp was 74.We longlined 1/16oz sliders, mosty in deeper water 20 foot plus.I had a fella with me,Jerry Rubin from charlotte who had never trolled ,or fished from a boat before,,he enjoyed the boat ride and the fishing,,he even hit it off with RJ,(my dog).We caught a good many fish, had 35 keepers before I had enough of the wind. The lord blessed us with a nice day on the water,..
RJ started off on the tiny side,

I gave him a good talking too and he improved on the size

And heres Jerry with a couple nice ones

And a little "live action" shot

Oh,I forgot to mention that the day ended better than it started.I had to stop to get some gas,,RJ,didnt want to stay in the truck,so I closed the door, and commenced to pumping my gas.RJ stood up to look out the driverside window and STEPPED on the automic DOOR LOCK.Wham,I was locked out:.Luckily,I have experience in getting in that truck with doors locked. The next stop was at the gate/entrance of cane crek park,,this time to be on the safe side I rolled my window down.I walked over to pay my fee which is on the passenger side. RJ stands up in the passenger seat, and this time he steps on the window button and rolls the window down while the guy at the gates is watching. He looked like he knew what he was doing as he rolled it down.

At least he did not get in the front seat of the boat and take over like Ronnie's dog, Roscoe did. Dogs are funny sometime.

Another good catch, I can relate to getting locked out by pooch. Thanks for the fine pics and report.
