Buddy that's all I've been doing since April!! I've been out on admin leave and they won't let me come back which I think is dumb cause I'm out fishing all the time!!!LOL Don't have my son around to hawk the jigs anymore, and he still hasn't lost all the ones I sent him. Probably wouldn't be so bad if I didnt have so many poured and a whole lot painted!LOL

I may have to see what I can do about getting some of these hooks. I like I am sure most of you get tired of dealing with unclosed eyes or the eye pointed the wrong direction on the Matzuos. Any idea when they will be hitting the market? And, are they going to be in the gambit of sizes from 5/0 down to #6 ?

You can get them on Capt Hooks - they run from 10 to 4/0

Fishing like crazy with the new mo's grubs unless the back hurts, and bugging work to let me come back!!! I know DA!!LOL Go to my Doc appts then home again. Last few days it's been raining like crazy - hope to get out tomorrow but I let the wife talk me into a leaf blower, pretty light plus it has a shoulder harness and she's talking I should blow the leaves into a big pile - with the wind can't do so I'm hoping the wind continues!!!!!!!

I've heard both that they are just as sharp as well as not as sharp. I've heard that they have better quality control. I have seen a pic side by side and the Eagles don't have quite as big as a gap as the Matzuos. They are cheaper. Overall I have heard more positive than negative and will be getting these hooks next go around.

John, the samples I got appear to be about the same. But my old eyes could deceive me.

I've been fishing the heck out of sizes 6 and 8 in this new hook and love them. Eye to shank distance is finally consistent in a sickle. They come sticky sharp. I think I'm finished with the Matzuos sickles.
