*If the interference goes away ...move the xducer closer to the TM in different areas to try and determine where the RFI is getting into the xducer or its cable ...

I have even found that sometimes RFI can even get in the system from a "pinch point" in the xducer cable from a ziptie being too tight...

LA 2 fish, this test that rickies suggested is a good ideal.but it's not a fix all test.i tried this test on my boat, but it didn't matter were the transducer was located.i still got interference from trolling motor.ive also got a transom mounted 360.if I remove my ground wire from the trolling motor, there will be interference.
    good luck with your setup.

Rickie, I'm working on the fix in my shop. Will the result be different, not being on the water?(
ie the transducer not being in water) I have attached a ground to the skeg, rerouting wires now. Have done all your recommendation's. I'll keep you updated.

Did the Ground wire alone fix your problem?

The 998 that I had with the transducer mounted on the trolling motor, also had a hummingbird choke made into the power cable.
I now have an onix10 , with the transducer mounted on the same trolling motor.i have almost no interference with the ground wire attached. I tried unhook in the ground wire but the interference was to much for my liking so I hooked the ground back

kosmo my 899 has that same interference on 800 khz when I am running it and my 798 at the same time. The heads are mounted side by side but the transducers are mounted on opposite ends of the boat.

    Update
Went to the lake today to see if the repairs worked. A BIG YES. I grounded the trolling motor and put on the choke from Humminbird.
Thank you to everyone for you help.
