Was out with SS.Minnow and his dad this a.m.A little chilly to start but turned nice. We tightlined minnows in search of the crappie. Well I think the picture I did take tells the tale. They were everywhere. From 8 to 10 fow out to the 38 and 40 fow. We did manage 21 decent keeper crappie and several throwbacks. Didnt try to count perch. Maybe 80 or better. Several of the bigger ones went home with Minnow and dad. No time for pics after the first fire drill. The pic was on the first place we looked. Moved on in but still the same ending.Great day just to be out. Water starting to cool a bit 74 early. Then the breeze kicked up around noon so we left them hungry.Anyone lookin for perch head into Torrence Branch.

That's a good mess of fish. Glad I didn't have to clean them. Sounds like a fun time. I'm coming up on my six days off I may have to give the deer a break and go. Thanks for the report!![]()
Thanks for the report. Sounds like Wylie should be good for trolling now!
