Default Same jig, Different Chenille Material (Gray Ghost Type Jigs)

Thought since we talked a bit the other day about what I called Crystal Antron and others called what ever CA calls it or at least that is my impression. Maybe I am wrong, don't know since don't have the jig in question in my hand to see, but this is a picture of jigs I just tied and one uses Rayon Chenille and the other is Crystal Antron, but it's hard to capture the shiny stuff in this chenille. Now real Grey Ghost doesn't have ant feather tips tied in, but some times I use a tip because I don't ever end up with a lot of extra V's with my Gray feathers. However maybe I just have not tied enough of that color yet to build up a stash, LOL!

    Always like your jigs.
Like the crystal antron but couldn't find it when trying to tie the Grey Ghosts. Haven't used feathers yet, no local supply and like to get fingers on stuff before working with it.--shu

the new age Minner chenille has been very good to me in these types of jigs, it doesn't look like much until you put it in the water, and then the little peices of mylar start sparkling, Robert also has a chenille especially for the gray ghost, a little mylar in that one too, I think it's kinda new can't remember the name but just got a couple packs.

Tanks guys! The Crystal Antron I have used for almost 10 years now and it really good stuff. It also has the little imbedded pieces of Mylar in it and I love how it fills the hook so even. Just love it and oh yeah it last better than regular chenille. It comes in 2 or 3 sizes I think. It's been a while since I had to get any because I have a god bit.
