The finest gift you can give to any fisherman is to put a good fish back, and who knows if the fish that you caught isn't someone else's gift to you?"

You think you caught those fish? That was just their plan to catch you and it worked, you fell into their trap. Good catch of some beautiful Speckled Perch.

Oh boy did they catch me. I was out for 3 hours yesterday with my employee. I was so excited telling him about Thursdays fishing that I took him on the boat to show him how it went. We caught 8 fish in about two and a half hours between five and 730. This morning I'm driving to the marina right now to go try some more action. This time I'm taking my mother, she is the long time seasoned angler. Here is a quick photo of the fillets that came off of the 5 keepers yesterday.

Been rough water today. Wind was so strong that it spun me around and one line got caught in trolling motor. Had to take prop off to clean it and keyway fell into the lake lol. So now I set the bimini top up and am sailing at 1.3 knots. Caught two keepers in the past hour on sail power. My outboard is my rudder. We took an hour break at marina and took an hour getting set up again due to the waves slowing me down. I was trying to stay dry in my little rig. So far dont worry about slabfest since I only have 10 keepers... good start slow rest of day
