Default Lake Prince ramp closed Weds morning

Tomorrow, Oct 1, the gate at Lake Prince will be closed in the morning while a contractor removes a tree near the boat ramp. Once the job is done and deemed safe the gate will be opened.

    Thanks for your understanding.

    Off topic:

Mr Rosenthal, are there any charts available for the lakes? Once upon a time I had one for cahoon and Meade, but those are portsmouth lakes. Just curious if there was something similar for the Norfolk lakes.

Off topic too, I really wish you guys would change the permit sticker to honor a year to date validation... Jus saying
Seriously though. I plan on fishing this fall ( havent crappie fished since Feb.) and I'm really torn on spending the $40 for the last couple months of the year.

Unfortunately, City Code is set up with the permit schedule. Don't forget that daily permits are still an option, and they can be post-dated .
