Nice use of the boxes. You can never have to many containers.

Looking for cheap (free) ways to organize my ties and materials. I came up with a couple pretty decent options
Floppy disc case now is my chenille organizer, looking for another for my marabou...these things are hard to come by these days!
An old electronics case, found some foam and cut it to fit on the band saw. Should keep my ties nice and tidy until I take them to the lake.

SO I re-thought my organization and didnt like the hard floppy disc case, but I did find a 3 ring binder full of 3.5" floppies in plastic pouches. I now have everything put into a binder for better access to materials!

Heck I have run out of room in my tying room and even have several 5 gallon plastic buckets I keep my duck feathers in and have them stashed under my computer desk. I do have this huge desk that was my dads in my tying room and where my computer is also. And yes I do use the drawers in that desk for some tying materials like all my Roadrunner heads along with blades and split rings, etc! as for my jigs, I bought a couple big plastic boxes made for picture storage and each large box hold a bunch of smaller boxes where I hot glued in some foam sheets and that is to keep my tied jigs ready to use. Each large box will hold so many jigs you wouldn't believe it!
adding pics.....

I had the same idea Skip! Here's mine in use...
Once I got the big case pretty full, I got tired of totin it to the lake so I got this...
It holds 6 of the same small boxex. That way I can just pick out 6 with the size/color combination I figure would be appropriate and head out. I carry it in a tackle bag along with a small box of jigheads & an assortment of plastics in zipper bags.
Works good for me!
