    Default 9/22 Morning on Barren

Got to go out on Barren this morning, it was a little on the cool side and it felt good. Not a cloud in the sky and the water is still clear, not turning over yet but it is dropping as they have started pulling it for winter pool. Water temps are the same as last week at 73 and that was pretty constant. Started fishing in the mouth of a good sized bay but they just weren't there so we eased back in a little and found 16 that we kept. My buddy kept track of our daily catch an said we caught 43 for the day. Gotta love me some fall mornings.

I added a snap swivel on the wire due to popular demand. I just attach a hook right on the snap and it makes it a little easier to change baits.

Just ordered 10 of these to pass out up here in PA. Gonna try deepwater perch fishing with them. I'll give you a report afterwards.

I'm going to try them out at Green river lake this weekend, think I will switch out lures on top and use minnows on bottom, thanks Buddy
