to answer the question: the bigguns usually bite best for me closer to the full moon! we had one of our best days of the yr just yesterday with 79 keepers from 10-14 inches an 23 a pound or better! vertical jiggin a World Famous FishDoc Bucktail 5-15ft deep over stumps an brush in 12-22fow. and as far as Bobcats contest go, I've fished several days they were goin on an never seen any of them! Its a very big pond...

I never seen any of the "gray water" come down the river. I think it all got settled out or filtered by the water runnin over so many rocks in the 35 miles of river it had to run down. It sure hasn't affected the crappie bite, unless thats why we've been catchin them so well rite below where the rivers enter the lake. they may like those shad with that famous "smoked" flavor!LOL! And the crappie taste just like they always have! Daytoon, you just stay up there an keep eatin those James River fish that are so sweet...and come from that clean water.

I'm safe. The ones I catch are so small, they haven't lived long enough to accumulate toxins! But I here Kepone and PCB's are good for the soul.
