Good write up & pictures. You are still hanging in there with Larry's wasshoppahs. Good bait for sure.
Do you ever use Sliders?
Will be going to Kerr the 29th.

I hit Buggs Saturday for the first time in 5 months. I started out in Eastland and only got 3 crappie but landed my biggest there which was just over 13" and 1lb 5oz.
Oddly, I caught it 26' deep over brush in 30' of water, it had mud on it's lower fins. I did not catch a single crappie casting, all were caught with a pearl/chartreuse wasshoppah tipped with a chartreuse crappie nibble holding tight to structure vertical jigging. Most were caught 17'-20' deep and I lost more jigs hanging up on structure that I can recall in a long time. I stuck my head in PanHandle, Grassy, and Island Creek as well.
The leaves are starting to change out that way.
I showed surface water temp at 77-80. It was a nice day but I can only guess that it was the north winds and blue sky that slowed the bite.
