Default Underwater video of Crappie in Kansas I hadn't seen before

I am fascinated watching videos of crappie hitting jigs. There are several on youtube but
this one is on a Nebraska fishing blog. The video was taken on Kirwin Reservoir in Kansas
in 2007. Cameras have gotten better since then but you still have to be in pretty clear
water to get video worth watching.

Amazing how long and hard most of the crappie study the jig before biting. (dual jigs in this case).
So many times all they do is nip at it gently and swim off. A few of the hits are hard where
they just swim in and take it. Good long video that you might enjoy.

These guys were ice fishing which seems to be the only time I here about crappie being caught up there. There is some real nice fish up there though!

You cant launch off the dam? We always used to use the dam as the boat ramps were always high and dry.
