    Finally got back on the water after several weeks not fishing and a trip to Canada. Water temps were running around 68-69 degrees and was pretty clear. Started out fishing 10-12 ft range catching only small ones. Moved to 12-18 ft depths and picked up larger fish. Also found that tipping jigs with minnows increased the bite rate. Used 1/16 oz jigs with black/chartreuse and plain chartreuse vertical jigged around wood. Largest was 15 1/2 in. (Used wife's camera and didn't change date!)

    Haven't seen you in I don't know how long We really have crappie that big in our little lake? - LOL. Maybe I'll run into you sometime this fall.
