ctom poured these up to match some jig heads I painted and they match great!!!!!!!

Also have some from Snake - even with the wind blowing today took them out and the bait guys were ready to strangle me!!!!!!! Best color today was the new penny head with orange irredescent glitter and the matching body from ctom.

They didn't play around they took it!!!!!! Ended up catching 16 bass and of all things I haven't seen this year a rainbow trout!!!!!!! and stupid here forgot the camera today!!!!! DA!!!!!!

If you're thinking about getting some just do it, they work really well!!!!!!!!!!!

Went out again yesterday and the bait guys wanted to KILL me!!!!!! I ended up with 26 bass from little ones up to a 2 1/2 lber. I even moved from my first spot and let the bait guys fish it and went back down the shore line and kept catching while they didn't get bit.

The pics are on my cell phone and of course since I have an old flip style you need an external card to download them - so I sent them to my wife as a multimedia and they still haven't gone through yet!!

Got a couple on the pink and pearl but it was still the newpenny/irredescent orange glitter that kicked butt!!!!!!!

Was told of another pond that has crappie in it but the only open area is right at the boat launch so not an ideal place to fish but I'm going to check it out!!

Checked out the pond this morning and without a small boat just isn't feasible to fish it from the boat launch. Gotta get the nephew to make some time to get out there with his boat!!!!!!

I like the powder painting you did on your jig heads.

Snake I don't know what formula ctom used to pour them but my jig head was done with the new penny then a dip in the irridescent orange glitter with clear
I know my pic doesn't show the color good with the eye on it but there's a better one, usually for solid base colors I use my 2" fluid bed then go back and reheat and dip or brush tap with multi colors.

I learned a lot on brush tapping jigs from others, I always used to do single colors.

OK those of you using Texas Wiggler what is your preference on position of flat tail 1) in above pict tail is flat on jig-that is flat sides are top & bottom(like a paddle tail?) as opposed to flat sides would be on each side(same as the eyes on the jig) like a swimming jig?. just wondering what you feel is best action/catch ratio...Thanks jax

It doesn't seem to make any difference on which way that you rigged the plastic bait it catches just as many fish either use in that vertical or flat on talking about the tale of the plastic bait but I also would like to hear more input from the other guy's out there also would like to know COLOR preferences how many of you guys are fishing solid black or solid chartreuse so far fishing here in Oregon it doesn't seem to make any difference on what color combination that I'm using we are catching fish may be because the fish are hungry or maybe because they like the action I do not know it seems like FATMAN using the orange with the gold glitter seem to be doing fairly well may be the water is clear and they are seeing the flash.
