Boat register question
My friend in MO is thinking of adding a trolling motor to his kayak like mine. He ask me if he need to register it like I do in Kansas. Since I have no idea about Missouri I think it is best I ask here.
1) Does he need to register he kayak if he add a trolling motor.
2) how much is the fee?
3) does he need to pay the property tax like I do in KS?

ANY boat that is motorized will need to be registered and licensed. The trolling motor won't but the kayak will.

what bullettmans said, I just did that with a plastic boat. I you don't have a title and all the paper work you will have to get the boat inspected at Mo. highway patrol and to get a license you will have to have the tax proof.
