    Default Ouachita river 9/15

Caught a decent mess this morning, couldn't find any golden shiners though

Picked up 7 crappie and a nice white bass the first hour of daylight dragging a jig in open water. That kinda played out and moved on to my tree tops. That was a slow bite though, fish weren't in the tops like last week. I guess the clouds kept them out but couldn't find them in the open either. Had to quit at 10am, had business to tend to. Final count was 13 crappie and a white bass. Now to make plans for tomorrow.....

Got my oldest boy hitting the hunters ed on the 4th.hopefully. Gotta get his other leg bf basketball season starts.
I'd rather be on the water than looking up on the trees or down from a stand but If'n there's a sweet spot in between for lil man, I want that rather than nba2k14.

N you prob missed 5 or more fish. :-)

Looks like summa my area fishin grounds. Thx for the pics.

I recognize that tree. That's Hamilton correct? Nice catch better than I was doing today. Work keeps getting in the way of my fishing.
