I'd also like to hear Conway techniques in general if anyone would like to share. Getting under those limbs aint easy![]()
BRM, can't believe you didn't put this up.......................
I'm not the resident expert on Conway, but I pitch under the limb and follow the line down with my rod tip, or I pull that jig up tight to the tip of the rod and poke it through the limb and then drop the jig.
Run by BRM. RENT his long range visual aid devices. Follow Crappie Pro. Even though the technique is pretty awesome in the article, I don't see a gob of fish stacked on a table like the Pro does.

Here's you Conway Technique? Get a Jig pole spool up with a quality 6-8 lb test, tie a jig on the end, and get to jigging. I would use a nibble or tip with a minnow also sometimes. I believe in the Kiss method. Keep It Simple Stupid. If your not smart enuff to know that crappie like the shade of trees and docks and migrate to creek channels and keep moving till you find some in the fall here on Conway, Maybe you should take up golf.
