Started off on a lay-down towards the end of little pigeon. Caught two nice one's and then two boats ran right over the log. The A__ H___ had the nerve to ask if I was catching.Bit a hole threw my lip.
Ran out to Grand lake and caught a few more but the wind was to much. Had to make a move. Work a shallow bank off the lake with lilies stacked on it and picked up a few more.
Move back into big pigeon and ran to the reed canal. Left em biting there.
All fish caught 2' under a slip cork in 4" of water or less. Black n chart tube on a 1/6 minnow head.
Kept about 25 sacs a bass for mama, a goo for PPG 2 goggles eyes and a nice shell cracker.

You're a better man than me when it comes to stuff like that. And I'm quiet. Certain things just rub me wrong and I'm not a stranger to showing what I think. But terrible at wording it.
I like your trip stories bc they have the ups n downs. Every place you go, you have another place There that you can go. Shows time on the water experience in tons of diff places. And that's how I wanna be. A depth finder can only do so much. Time.
Still at ends on this shallow fishing during the summer here, but learning. Weird how much diff it is from here and there and around. When I try the shallow banks, I focus on shade, and I catch fish, but lots of aggressive bites from mostly smaller fish. And almost always blacks.
If I move out bigger whites are there but far and fewer. I settle for em rather than paddling up and wasting my limited time.
I have learned swim patterns work better with rabbit than marabou.
I'm rambling.
Way to go Mr M.
Mr jig rig, I would love to have your ice chest in my boat any time. You always seem to catch fish. I salute you and your knowledge of crappie fishing. Congratulations on, yet, another box of beautiful crappie.
The Lord is good. His mercy and love endures forever.
Jimmy, JR is about as generous a person as you'll ever find. He'll even let you sit in the back of his boat and watch how he catches 'em. He's a great fisherman and I'm proud to call him friend.
