Heard you all got a lot of rain with some pretty bad flooding. Is everyone okay?

Watching the news some areas are in bad shape. Homes flooded, some neighborhoods had to evacuated, rescuing people from flooded cars. Haven't talked to RDucks but his neighborhood floods pretty bad anyway and I bet it's a mess down there. Some subdivisions completely shut off from road damage with no way in or out.

Fought it all day. .....I was fine but the idiots in Memphis different story. ....I did get the pleasure a couple of times of running thru big water holes and throwing water all over the idiots that can't drive in it......

I got 4 3/4", living on a hill helps. There was a river on both sides of the property in the low spots. The tower at Church rd and I-55 was out and the phones didn't want to work. Debbie left at 2:50 to keep the little granddaughters since our oldest granddaughter was blocked in. 15 minute drive took a little over an hour. Goodman rd and 51 area was shut down, most everyone was using Nail rd to 51 then to Church rd to I-55. Church rd from Airways to 51 was a parking lot.
One of Debbie's x-coworkers filmed driving across Goodman earlier today. An extended cab truck siting by the Gateway sign had water up to the windows

Slabo posted some pics of the flooding in his neighborhood and it was bad. Good thing he's on a hill.
