Thread: Cool cloudy day , good day to go crappie fishing.

Tuesday was a cool cloudy day and a good day to go crappie fishing. Was on Crain Creek Lake Union County N.C by 7:30am did not even fire up the big motor, starting pulling jigs right from the ramp. Had 4 fish in the boat by the time I had gone 200 feet. And it only got better from there. Had counted over 100 fish most around 8’’ by 11: 30 am, kept 20 10’’ + for a buddy and was back home by 12:30p. WT 80 fish holding at 10-15 feet in 20-25 feet of water. Any jig color was working as long as it had red in it.
