    Default Jordan Lake 9/2

Been meaning to post this but got busy at work...

Went to Jordan on Tuesday 9/2.
    Arrived 10am.
Fished in a cove w 11 feet of water and no action.
Moved out to spot within close prox to main channel with submerged standing timber.
There was good current flow and we started catching shortly after we dropped anchor.
Casting Road Runners 1/16 tipped w minnows. It never got frenetic but had some noticeable ebbs and flows when the bite would get more frequent and then return to every few minutes a bite.
Bite lasted from 12-4 and we left them biting.
Had to catch 50 to get 16 keepers this is the totals for my boat includes myself and my dad. He beat me on this day. Jordan Lake 9/2

They seemed to hit RR tipped or B Garlands baby shad on a darter head not tipped best. The key was casting followed by a slow pendulum swing fall with a slow slow retrieve. The norm was just to feel pressure and no noticeable tap. We used 4lb test line.
The only time the bite was aggressive was just during those brief moments when the pace picked up. Within an hour there might be 1 or 2 of these periods.

We sat in 12-14fow and cast to 8-9 fow.

The breeze and the current both helped us.

It was very hot this day. Air temps 90-94.

    Tight lines
