    that is what I thought. Where is Sherms located? would you have a phone number by any chance?

    You are pretty handy, do it yourself. Not hard, specially since you don't have to fool with a gps puck.

    998 has the external GPS.. He sold me on stronger signal, and price. Old unit has one as well. More worried about getting the transducer mounted right with no leaks. I am handy at writing checks to keep the economy going....
