    Default North Landing River-41 crappie

I picked up 41 crappie today on the North Landing River in Virginia Beach in right about 5 hours. Quite a few dinks around 6" with most around 10" and only a few at 11". Nothing worth taking a picture of. It's odd for me to fish there as I am a deep water fisherman and this river is mostly only around 6' deep so all the crappie I caught were around 4' down. Most were caught on Kalin's Money jig but I did get around 12 on Blue Ice BGBS. I showed surface water temp at 78.

Good job George!!! I almost went there yesterday myself but fished Northwest river instead. I sure will be glad when the water temps cool and get the skiers off the water. I will post a report later today.

Way to go George. I was wanting to get out at least one day this weekend but Friday evening spent three hours in Urgent care in Va. Beach. Some how I slipped and hit the edge of the car I was workin on and fractured a rib. So three days of nothing.

Yeah, I went yesterday on Yeopim river and caught a bad skunk. First skunk in years. Yeopim is still living up to its name for kicking my butt. Glad you got in them Tap.
