Best sheepshead trip i've ever been on 8 keepers Friday 4-7.4lbs (my personal best) and 8 keepers Saturday 4-7.8lbs. Boyce caught the big one.

Nice
So Boyce, where were you? I was on Emerald Isle with a friend and we fished off the pier but that wasn't all that good. But his bride sure makes some powerful shrimp and grits.
I will be in the same area in Oct. looking for spots and whitting. Again in Nov. looking for specs. The Sheephead will be gone by then.
Nice work Kunes and Boyce. Best trip yet, but only one pic. What's up with that?? Last year we had several Sheephead pics and some action shots of the trailer mishap on the way home... if I remember correctly. Hopefully you didn't have any such mishaps this time. The picture thing... again... and one picture... Is it because of the higher film prices for those digital cameras nowadays or what?
You have to remember that us land lovers... can only fish vicariously through others.
Very nice trip I'm sure... thanks for sharing.

WOW! Those are some panfish el grande' there now. Thanks for posting them. I have fished at the coast right much in the past... but never caught a big Sheephead.
How do they hit, fight and pull???
