    My son found some in the craft section at walmart. You can get a small roll of about 1/8" mixed color for $2. They have some small buckets for $5. One bucket will have mixed colors and another has solid colors. Not sure of the total footage in the bucket. Some of the buckets have parcord, beads and other craft stuff.

    I've got it now, 1/8" about 300 ft in different colors.
    G has it right, I use a mesh bag so none slip away. Keep them cool without ice.

    I'll be making short cords with it to tie rods and other items onto our yaks. If it falls overboard, it's not lost. My 9 year old granddaughter brought me a pink swimming pool noodle and instructions to make rod floats. But I don't want to be paddling after a run away rod.
