Tell'em I'll be there.
kyjohn, I left out an important word in my post. It was my trolling motor battery that was stolen. On a hunch, I checked the jon boats in the neighborhood pond and found it, with the wires still attached. Got it back but never discovered who did it. Deputy speculated it was someone outside the neighborhood who just needed a battery for the night.
Pastor
Didn't you have your rods stolen out of your boat in a store parking lot a year or so ago? I know times are hard but they are hard for all of us, show some respect for your fellow man that had to earn that money to buy what they took for FREE!!!!! ~~<*{{{{<<
Who knows? Like I said I arrived Home with an empty tube....still stolen no matter the details!Quote Originally Posted by Tracker123 View Post

Yep, If I was stealing out of a truck in broad daylight I don't think I would take the time to pry open the tube to see what was in it and then leave the tube behind
FSH4FUN,
Hey neighbor see your just over in Jena!
Thanks for the support, and I agree we all work for what we have unlike the individuals that steal our belongings. Pastor's intent was not being dis-respectful and I didn't take it as so. I understand exactly what he was saying and in all honesty, all I can do is move forward and not let this be something that makes me bitter because that only affects me and they never think twice about the impact on the people they rob or do they even care. I'll pray for my peace of mind and the wisdom to be more defensive against this type of act. I am looking strongly into the Driftmaster's Rod Locker system or something similar for my boat, and I will have all my electronics on a removable disconnect and Ram mount system so I can store them in a safer place. Got to be more pro-active on guarding against these acts.
check with the shipping company and if you paid with a visa you could be insured.
Yes, I did have my rods stolen out of my boat in a parking lot about 2.5 or 3 years ago. I also had some one come to my house about 4 years ago, go into my boat shed and take everything but the trolling motor and the forty HP Merc. And believe me I know how much tackle and fishing equipment cost. But, I prayed for the ones who robbed me both of those times. I still believe that we need to pray for the thieves who stole from Brandon. We need to pray for their salvation; that they would give their hearts and souls to Jesus Christ. He is the One who can bring change into their lives so that they will never steal from anyone again.
I apologize if I offended anyone with my post, especially TreeFrog, or you FISH4FUN. In no way did I intend to cause harm to my fellow fishermen or to discount the hurt and betrayal that TreeFrog felt when his rods were stolen. All I can do is ask ya'll to forgive me and pray for me if I slighted any of you in any way.

Man Brandon hate to hear that! I can't stand a thief or a liar! Maybe Doc will get some rods in for the Darbonne door prizes and you can get one to lessen the hurt some. And may the thief not catch a single fish on YOUR rods!
