    Default 9/2 henderson mess


    4 sacs , 3 bass, 1 catfish...tough morning. Got hot quick! Sac a lait fished for most of the morning. Picked up four pretty quick then nothing. Then I started hitting stumps with a texas rig looking for bass. Caught 5 grinnels on a blue worm. Don't know what it is about a blue worm but they were liking it. Switched to a green worm and started catching bass.

    I managed 3 out of the yak this morning out of McGee's. Got there at day break and paddled all around and finally caught my first one at 8:45. Left out at 11:30 when the showers started. Wish I could have met you and bandit. The fish I caught averaged 13" though which was nice. Got kinda muddy at the launch with that low water. Not used to that.

    Kind of a blue/olive camo look. I don't get to Henderson much this time of the year. Had to go as my usual places have too much current now.

    I talked to several boats and the most I heard was 3 fish for 2 men.
