    Default Slim pickins

Started off at D'arbonne. Only managed 1 in the slough by the old state park on a blue thunder with pink head. Saw several guys bunched up in the old channel on the big lake but don't know if they were catching. Left there and put in on the bayou. Caught a couple of bream and a catfish. Missed some others. Talked to two nice guys that caught them pretty good this morning. One using shiners and the other using jigs. Guess I should have went there first thing instead of the lake. It was hot and didn't catch much, but still a great day on the water!

Sound just like the kind of day I would have had if I could have gone; not much catching, just a lot of fun. LOL. That's just the way it is sometimes. Maybe next time.

That's what makes the good days good. The good thing is you seldom remember the bad days unless they're really bad.
    Tell'em I'll be there.

The actual channel on the big lake not just the boat run. The guys I saw were in the old channel about even with where the boat run markers start coming from the spillway
