Default Fish are biting when you can find them......

Me and my son fished moss this morning, on the water about 6 am, it felt good then, but it got hot later on in the morning, water temp 84 , fish bite good till about 9 am then took the lock jaw, we were shooting docks mainly, my best fish came from docks in 10 foot of water, caught some nice 13 to 14 inchers, but they were some 8 inchers in there too, you never knew what you would catch next, I caught bass, brim catfish, too. Had a good time till it got hot, give up about 12:30, had 58 crappie on the counter, I'm ready for fall!

Only took one picture early, got to catching fish and didn't take any more pictues....

I went to Wylie last Thursday with Mr. Cromer and we fished docks all over and could not buy a bite. Wylie has some good looking docks with covered slips and pilings so I thought we would find some back in the shade but it was not to be. Completely baffled me to be shut out shooting docks. Usually when it is this hot you can find them back under the docks in the shade. Tried jigs mostly, but I threw a few minnows on a slip cork in the back of empty slips, no luck there either.
What you reckon the difference was??
Mark 1:17 ...I will make you fishers of men

Well, last week I couldn't catch them under the docks, they were on brush, monday I couldn't catch them on brush, so i tried a few docks and they were there, so this morning thats where I start out at and they were there, I love shooting docks, so when I find them under there I hit them hard! All on jigs, hadn't had a minnow in my boat in about 7 years.
I hope they stay on the docks for a few weeks, I would like to get on them again. I'm not far from wylie( about 45 minutes away) but I hadn't fished wylie in about 5 years now. I was on the lake one night when they had a real bad sewage spill,( Charlotte side of lake) man did it smell, came home and the new said not to eat any of the fish for a while, the next day I took them fish and through them away, hadn't wanted to go back since.
