I was looking at the one that will be on sale, it may work for what I want.
The built-in thermostat with variable temperature control ensures you're cooking at the right temperature, every time. Three racks offer plenty of room (547 square inches of cooking area) for all your favorite smoked foods. The wood chip tray lets you add the flavor you're looking for, and the water pan keeps every item moist and juicy. Removable drip pan makes clean-up a snap. Temp. range: 100 - 400º. - See more at: Masterbuiltâ„¢ Sportsman Elite® 30'' Electric Smoker | Bass Pro Shops

John Amazon may have the same one for $174 with free shipping, at least I think it's the same one just not called the Sportsman.

The one in the flyer will go to 400. It just doesn't have the controls. It's more like your gas model. You adjust the temp by the vent.

John, do you have a Tractor Supply nearby? I bought my daughter the 30, digital electric there the other day for $140.99. Same one I got from Amazon for $174.99.

I would not want the glass. Someone on here said the glass get stained dark very quickly and can't see through it. I think the thick, insulated front would hold temperature better too.
